I think someone at Look North Leeds forgot to check their police contacts.
BBC Look North have spent a massive amount of tax payers money on two seperate news programmes for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Well that's what the licence fee is, a tax on television, dress it up however you like that's what it amounts to.
That's the problem with this Look North split, where does Doncaster lie in the equation, with Leeds or Hull ? In the end, looks like they decided just to ignore it.

It's in both - a report from Doncaster or news about Doncaster FC will get shown on both programmes.

Not in Doncaster. LN Leeds had a reporter in the newsroom who basically repeated what Julie had just said five minutes before on Calendar.
The headline insert at the start of the 10.30 News was also with Julie Lockwood as opposed to Yunus in the studio.
Also this morning, Calendar had Lisa Adlam live at the scene on the GMTV bulletin, Look North just had someone on the phone.
This proves that Calendar still have the resources to do breaking news properly

Don't remember Look North ever taking any lives during Breakfast, perhaps due to the self-op nature of the studio.
Perhaps that will change from Monday when Leeds move, as confirmed by Harry Gration today.

The fact that they are moving seems very low key, are they just taking the current set with them or something!.
It hasn't exactly been promoted to Midlands Today standards has it!
Meanwhile on Calendar Duncan was almost in trouble again with some yobs heard in the background on the OB
A bit later on there was a funny bit where Christine looked at the wrong camera. She realised and turned to the other one, but at the same time the vision mixer switched to the one she was looking at, Christine turned back to the first one and the vision mixer turned back to his first one, this went on a bit longer as they kept missing each other!
