I won't be on any of the shots.

Of course not.

It wasn't filmed in Hull, so it'll go straight on the cutting room floor.

Hull's not the worst offender in the 'all this' and nowhere else stakes, you ever seen Look North Newcastle?

In the ten days I was in Cumbria, only three reports for there and all others were east of the Pennines.....

I watched all the Carlisle flooding on Look North Newcastle and there must be a mile or three between those two fair cities.

Look North has not been so bad to Cumbria lately. Although they do seem to ignore anything which happens in a city.

Tonight's Calendar was presented by Christine Talbot in the studio and Duncan Wood in Sheffield

Bit of a dodgy start, for some reason there were no opening titles. Duncan's intro rambled on for so long what we thought was a pre titles intro was actually half the lead story

Don't forget, a new series of The Dales Diary starts tommorow at 7.30. Luke Casey is still going strong walking around the dales after all this time!

It seems some of us here are not the only ones disappointed in Hull Look North since the departure of Helen Fospero and the good old days of the single integrated programme.

I was so shocked when I watched the climax of this weeks Sons & Daughters on Five. It seems Peter really does reach far and wide, even as far as our Antipodean friends.

Hankeys at the ready, it's very moving Crying or Very sad

I'm quite an emotional person actually, I can't sit through ET without welling up. Anyway, what's with you ?

Is this what being 43 does to you ? It certainly seems to have made you tetchy. Is it the onset of the male menopause ?

Squarey is right Joe, you *have* been unreasonably tetchy recently.

And give the old health thing a miss would you? There are more people on here than you think who are living with terminal illnesses, but we don't all bang on about it.

Squarey: that video piece was a triumph.
