No it isn't - it's childish, repetitive, run its course and it isn't funny when it's done time after time. You need a new jokebook.

Look which celebrity appeared on Calendar tonight, I like the caption...

Over on Look North, Harry Gration and Christa Ackroyd were both at Royal Ascot again. Christa had a new hat on.

Look who also appeared here as well, with 'arry and someone even smaller than Paul. You can't make it up can you

Look who made the papers

And one to make Katherine jealous

Both channels have really pushed the boat out this week, the next big occasion will no doubt be the Great Yorkshire Show.

Must be strange for Hull viewers, depending on what channel they watch they either get a programme dominated by the events in York, or one that barely mentions it.

You have to laugh, Look North Hull struggle to get across the Humber Bridge, yet manage to send somebody to Iceland for a week long series of reports.

I mean Iceland ?

I'm taking locational report notes again, and reporting this week has been very balanced location-wise. If anything, Skegness has been the focus of slightly more reports than Hull. North-West Norfolk has had three reports too, and additionally, Sleaford's done well this week. Bridlington too...

Right, great.

Katherine, don't you get it? Someone hit the nail bang on the head earlier in the thread when they said you need a sense of perspective. You need to accept the following:
- Look North Hull is a poor programme which serves no purpose other than to further inflate Peter Levy's ego
- Paul Hudson will never marry you and probably finds you annoying
- Most people DON'T LIKE Look North Hull and do not appreciate you ramming down our throats what bad people we are for not seeing it through your rose-tinted glasses

Maybe once you accept all of this, fellow forumers will start to respect what you post on here instead of get fed up with you bleating out the same old crap time after time.

Looking forward to the PM...

Tonight's Calendar...

I think someone from Calendar is visiting here and having a laugh. Now then, anyone know the answer to this question?

Over on Look North, Christa was live from the scene of the flash floods in North Yorkshire

There for Calendar was Chris Kiddey

I can't enter that competition. They've left out the vital option of "Dickie Turd".

It was good to see that both YTV and Tyne Tees both had seperate crews in North Yorkshire for the floods and TTTV didn't just re-use YTV stuff as expected (even though no-non-digital viewers in North Yorks will have seen Tyne Tees with Billsdale still being off)

Now, now Phil, I don't think that's fair. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion - and you saying that seems slightly hipocritical.

You're saying that LN Hull IS awful, full stop.
Katherine is saying that LN Hull is brilliant, full stop.

Surely this is the same thing, no? Just at opposite ends of the spectrum.

I happen to believe that Katherine is more qualified to judge as it's her region that the programme is covering. If the people in the region are happy with their version of local news (no matter what incarnation it may take), then I believe it's a service worth providing. I'm not suggesting for one minute that Katherine is representative of everyone in that area, but to me, I don't see many people (if anyone?) from that region complaining about their local news. The bitching seems to mostly come from people in the LN Leeds patch who apparently "choose" to watch a programme that they only complain about. Bizarre if you ask me.

However, both of you need to realise (as I first pointed out) that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Neither of you are right, and conversely neither of you are wrong.

Final thought: take care of yourselves, and one another...
