No mention of Hull in the first ten minutes of the programme last night.... suggest watching with an open mind.....

Locations very varied on the lunchtime Belmont bulletin - Lincolnshire Health Authority, North Norfolk (Cromer), Lincolnshire Show, a Grimsby concert, Iceland's links with the North-East coast (Bridlington to Grimsby), Royal Ascot at York...... hardly time to mention the SOLE Hull report that was quite short....

Todays lunchtime Calendar went a little awol. Watching on sky we got the main opening segment from Leeds, then the opt out and everything went a little crazy, the sound came from the main studio in Leeds but all the pictures without sound came from Calendar south in Sheffield. Someone at ITV was trying to correct this mess but we ended up a couple of times with pictures from ITV in Newcastle but the sound still came from the main Calendar studio in Leeds.
Total farce me thinks.

All this, apart from the weather from Paul, was of course exclusive to viewers in Yorkshire and the North Midlands. Peter was as usual in his studio on his own in Hull.

Well, what I cant understand is why couldnt they just of replaced Helen.F with someone else. There are many female presenters on the Look North Team already e.g. Jenny Hill, Caroline Davies and of course Helen Philpot.

Now when did ever I say that. Look North is in my opinion the second best regional news programme for Yorkshire and the North Midlands
