Sorry Kat wrong - the report had nothing to do with Boston.....the reporter just walked down the high street saying "in places like Boston" - doesn't make it the centre of the story though.

And don't diss me...I watched it and I'm credible journalist and everything.

One has to wonder how long they'll carry on with The Peter Levy Sat In His Caravan show. It is pointless to the extreme and a real waste of money where a small opt-out would be more than sufficient for this some-might-say very insignificant area.

It will be fun to see if the strike affects the show on Monday - I fully expect the picket line to consist of Peter sat on his own on the steps on his caravan... I mean the studio.

apparently peter prefers it up the rear, well known for escaping out the back door. he doesnt like to use the front door incase he has to speak to any of his more than slightly insane fans.

Yes, this story centred around sham marriages between non-European immigrants and European immigrants to enhance their chances of staying in Britain.

Ah, Look Hull, the programme specially for illegal immigrants who live in Hull.

Wrong - the report was about 'illegal' immigrants that live in BOSTON.

A scarily high proportion of poles and the like in that area. I keep bumping into them. *looks at farmers being tight sods*

The Skegness Lidl actually has europeans in it! Never happened in the black country, unheard of!

I will NOT TOLERATE that slanderous slur on Peter's character!

Want to take a second or two to read my post again, PROPERLY?

Nowhere do I say that the illegal immigrants AREN'T in Boston. My post had nothing to do with where the illegal immigrants in that report have their current abode.

I said the programme is specially FOR illegal immigrants living in Hull.

I expect the illegal immigrants living in Hull would also be interested in illegal immigrants living in Exeter, but I didn't say THAT, either.

Any time you want to post an apology, feel free.

Wouldn't they have the same problem as ITV had with their breakflashes though?

I'm not sure the automation can handle an event of only three seconds.

Indeed.

A number of us joke (you MIGHT have noticed) about HTV West News just reading out stories from the Bristol Evening Post.

Look Hull is the only programme I know which actually makes a major feature out of reading out of the paper.

You'd think they'd try to afford just one journo, wouldn't you?

The breakfast programme on BBC Radio Leeds which started 30 mins later than usual is being presented by John Ryan and Alex Hall, in for Andrew and Julie.

Nobody really expected Peter Levy to go on strike did they ?

I'm more worried about the gap on the shelf in Kat's video collection after today's strikes.
