Blimey Kat. I can scarcely beleive you would publish that here when it was addressed to you in private.

If you feel you are the victim of a wind up then ignore it.

I expect a certain Mr L will now have much explaining to do to his employers. Won't exactly make you flavour of the month, will it?

I received this news half an hour after hearing my grandmother had died. Therefore, as you can imagine, I was in no mood at all to be wound up (Lord knows some people can't help winding me up) along the lines of 'Paul Hudson is leaving Look North' again by anyone.

As you might guess, I value and trust the word of a Look North person far more than I do anyone else's on here. I will believe it when Peter himself, a representative of Look North or the BBC Press Office themselves confirm it. Until then, I will consider it to be nothing but a wind-up. coming as it does from someone who was banned from this place before.

Charlotte obviously likes it

The rear projection screen doesn't particularly help

Also, has anyone noticed the theme tune to Look North sounding dodgy lately, like it is being played under water!?

The Leeds weather was even worse as the camera was too far out, leaving a washed out bit of brown in the middle of the screen

After one bad comment too many, Paul knew very well what was coming when Christa Ackroyd flashed her 'filthy look' to Paul at close range.....

Is there a "crap caption competition" going on in this thread or something tonight ?

If so, my turn

Peter is notified of another e-mail from Katherine in Boston. Laughing

It is pretty awful Kat that you talk about the tittle tattle of regional tv in the context of the death of a close relative. What everyone exchanges here is idle b***s**** and of little real consequence (much like Look North itself). I would not take it too seriously. Log off and get a life.

I find it odd I can't explain a little about the context and reasoning behind the way I reacted in the way that I did.

Also, I wonder who is giving Alf authority to divulge this information to me. Or is Alf breaching confidentiality himself by telling me this rumour?

Look North Leeds won two Ruby awards last night - Sean Stowell receiving one for good reporting, and Harry and Christa won one for best presentation (or something like that)....

Why is NW Norfolk not represented by the labelled towns/cities?

Well of course he was - but he chose to whisper in your ear in private, affording you a chance to digest the information before it is made public, not for you to disseminate it.

Although I have no idea how you connect the two events, I'd like to say I'm really very sorry to hear about your grandmother, Kat.
