Oh joy, looks like we're in for another of those "YOU BUY ONE, YOU GET ONE FREE" shouty style double glazing ads, for the mentally retarded.

Along with the classic Bobby Ball line, "GET ON THE PIGGING PHONE"

I'm sure Susan always wears her "Calendar" pinny, whenever in her home kitchen, and it's not a prop.

Is it just me, or has somebody forgot to take Levy's coathanger from inside his suit, or is he thinking of the horrifying prospect of 30 minutes of broadcasting with Flackroyd?

I see on Look North that Paul Hudson's 'Seven Natural Wonders' programme got a lot of praise from Victor Lewis-Smith from the London Evening Standard under his review entitled 'Flyer with a Spiritual Air'.

Assorted comments are as follows:

"Last night's instalment from Yorkshire & Lincolnshire featured a beatific presenter who looked like a normal version of the grinningly imbecilic (and seemingly decorticated) Alan Titchmarsh. his name was Paul Hudson."

"There were lavish aerial shots as Hudson soared above the East coast in a microlight, heading along the Humber Estuary toward Spurn Point 'where the sky meets the sea' (although he was probably confusing it with the horizon)."

"With frequent jump-cuts in the editing and Hudson's engagingly enthusiastic cries of "this is brilliant... it's amazing.... brilliant" there were several moments reminiscent of the insanely cheerful teenager from the Fast Show.

But a quasi-religious tranquillity mostly reigned as he flew over the beautiful Hornsea Mere, and the salt marshes of the Wash, or wandered round the mysterious Flamborough Head."

"With stunning photography and a presenter unafraid to dismiss one venue (chosen by the viewer), as a "natural wonder I just don't get", this was one of the month's most watchable programmes so far. And because the contributors clearly felt a bond between themselves and their locale"

I know Paul's absolutely delighted Victor Lewis-Smith liked the show.....

I thought exactly the same, with the fast cuts of Paul walking on the moors, in a field, on another field, it was more Paul Whitehouse than Paul Hudson

Well on Hull Look North Peter just took the p*** as per usual!

She's probably got a full range of pinnys all at YTV's expense. When she's in a funny mood she probably wears her "Cook Off" one.

Look who was back tonight voicing the regional programme. Only former YTV presenter, former Radio Leeds weekend breakfast show host and former presenter of popular ITV1 Daytime quiz show "The Biggest Game in Town". It's Steve Le Fevre

The endcap looked a bit of a mess, the Granada logo has the scratch on, the Yorkshire one doesn't, and the font looks a bit odd

Was Richard mentioned on Look North (Leeds) at all ? After all Christa did work alongside Richard for many years, and might have wanted to say a few words.
