paul was copying m**** a****'s sky high on central, although marie doesnt shout at the camera like paul did. and what was going on with the music, sounds like they post produced the regional version nicely - but then forgot to complete the network version.

Tonight's Calendar was with John Shires and Christine Talbot. John looks relaxed

The Hull version of Look North was presented by Peter Levy. With this camera shot being used almost throughout, you'd never know if they were in a CSO cupboard would you?!

A weather picture from Look North, it'll probably pop up on Yorkshire Weather tommorow

There's a small chasm of difference acoustically between a microlight and a helicopter...... I didn't know it was being transmitted so there was some clapping, cheering and whooping when they said it was coming!

I think they did two versions - one for Emley with all-Yorkshire ones, and another version broadcast to Belmont viewers with some from Lincolnshire. The fact there was Malham Cove as well as the Wash makes me wonder if they put some of the Emley and some of the Belmont together so we got a selection box from both versions.....

I've just gone into my tape archives for another thread and came across some good Yorkshire stuff

Firstly to prove that Kerrie Gosney was not the only GMG North continuity announcer to become a weather presenter. This was from Friday 8th June 2001

Moving on to early 2002 and a rare presenting line up on Calendar
http://www.hillyard22.freeserve.co.uk/archive3.jpg
and on the same day (I think) a fairly rare line up on Look North, don't you wish we still had this line up every few months??

And finally, for no particular reason, when you could actually read the region name, and actually got idents before Look North bulletins

I have a very intricate points system which would take the length of Encyclopedia Britannica to explain..... if you have 88 millennia free I might give you an abridged version.........
