IMO, they need a woman on the sofa next to Peter..... by the way, 'East of Eden' on the weather map was one of mine and Peter didn't twig... 1-0 to me and Lisa!

What management issues are they mainly worried or angry about? Would like to know if you know....

They are angry because Peter has just signed to do a summer season at the Embassy Theatre in Skegness with his 80's showbiz pals, Cannon & Ball, Jimmy Cricket, Little & Large and the Chuckle Brothers. Peter will be topping the bill, on Bernie Clifton's ostrich.

Oh good - that'll give me a nice period of broadcasting experience! I could fill in for him while he's treading the boards!

I was told, but as I don't know the individual(s) concerned it would be very unfair of me to post it here. Not to mention defamatory. I am sure your friend Peter could fill you in.

I heard a rumour (and can't go into too much detail here for obvious reasons, so sorry to be cryptic) that there are various 'contractual issues' which mean they can no longer have a co-host on with Peter. Sorry Kat!

Well, I do have Sweety the Chick as my ringtone so I can already 'do' fluffy and chirpy to some extent....

I expect Peter might do a probing indepth interview with Sweety the Chick at some point. The star guest tonight was some bloke out of Hi-De-Hi, it really is becoming the end of the pier show.

Next week, Basil Brush, Gordon the Gopher and Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Is there comprehensive election coverage on the Hull show?

All week on the Leeds show, one presenter has been out and about in the Voterhome and one in the studio

At Breakfast time they are taking a recorded weather from London, the other day it was Dan Corbett!

There was a probing interview with Kilroy who has Veritas candidates in Hull. Not really comprehensive.

Did I tell you that Karen Petch is doing Calendar East, she hasn't been seen for a while has she ?
