Some captures of Calendar's Election section with Political Editor Tim Iredale
http://www.hillyard22.freeserve.co.uk/ce2.jpg
The current make up of our region, as you can see most Labour seats are in West and South Yorkshire with the Conservative seats in the more rural North Yorkshire and Lincolnshire

Notice Christine and Duncan moved round to the side at this point, they don't bother putting out the 2 side benches thesedays if there are no guests
And some captures from the sponsorless weather

Look North are using a "Voterhome" in the run up to the election
http://www.rp-networkservices.com/tvforum/uploads/voterhome.jpg
It's branded red for Look North on one side and blue for The Politics Show on the other side, they only film it from one side depending on which programme it is.
Does Look North Hull have one as well? Of course Hull viewers get to see it on TPS in any case.

I don't see why, when there's no sponsoer, they bother using a 'sting' like this into the weather, especially as it's preceded immediately by the generic ITV 'WEATHER' sting of approximately the same duration. It just looks very odd and unnecessarily cluttered.

The voterhome obviously wasn't approved by London - it's branding says "BBC1" rather than "BBC ONE"

Don't know what just happened, but rather than the Calendar preview during the Paul O'Grady Show, all we got was the camera panning randomly around the studio with Christine visible briefly shuffling her papers. It then cut to the static ITV1 'ribbons' holding slide before returning to Paul O'Grady.

Oh. My. God. Whoever next? Caribbean cookery with Rustie Lee? Maybe Bonnie Langford? Lennie Bennett anyone?
(apologies if any of the above has in fact died - I can't quite remember ... then again I doubt it'd matter to a Look North Hull journalist)
