That strange laugh-like jumble of letters makes you seem like a mad scientist bent on taking over the world (god, you could make us watch Look 'less than 50 metres away from Spring Gardens' North).

What did Levy and Hudson say about you and your e-mail Katherine?

I see Yorkshire have lost the Carcraft Weather sponsorship, so no more "Come rain or shine, Carcraft, a most enjoyable car buying experience", instead the return of the Pete Haslam voiced "Yorkshire Weather" sting.

Notice that Carcraft (A most enjoyable car buying experiance) have ended their sponsorship of the weather so now we have a generic "Yorkshire Weather" sting.

Michelle Gee got quite giddy apologising that apparantly on Wednesday's Late News some viewers could only hear her but in vision was someone different. Did anyone here see this?

Spring Gardens? Don't you mean Queen's Gardens, dear?

Levy and Hudson both appreciate my e-mails ("What a great supporter you are" - Levy once said) and regarding connected placenames, Christa once said 'keep 'em coming Katherine, they're brilliant'.

Problems in Leeds this morning? Jenny Hill's brekkie bulletins were pan-regional from Hull, at least at 8.30.

Nice use of the Hull weather cam and a Lincolnshire travel item I thought

Duncan presenting Calendar as normal at lunchtime, but there was no opt-outs presumably due to the strike.

The strike itself made it into the bulletin, and they showed people on the picket line outside YTV.

Was the same just before 8am as well, both on analogue terrestrial and DSat.

Incidentally, I like Hull's take on the Breakfast clock, using their logo above it. Shame the font for the time is wrong though.

Amanda Harper was there as usual at 7.27am

Paul's forecast was recorded on tonight's Look North Leeds

Peter Levy knows why as well - "something that might make itself clear by Monday's programme."

Means only one thing. I am totally positive that Nicola's gone into labour with Baby Hudson, and Paul's gone to be with her either at home or hospital! Sprog imminent!

Expect Lisa to do the forecasts next week!

I'm still intrigued about this morning's pan-regional, any insider info on what happenned? I did check that Radio Leeds were still on the air, although I guess if it had been a power failure a generator would support radio but perhaps not TV.
