Looks to me like they've tweaked the Hull set so that Peter doesn't look so isolated with it as a single header. Also looks a bit more like the layout of the Leeds studio now.

So what have they done to it? Any caps?

They've moved the desk in front of those multicoloured boxes so there's a big screen on either side of the desk. I only saw it on the RealPlayer stream which is now working

Why is Calendar so stuck up it's backside - it promotes 'stories' on Footballers Wives and G4 before the actual headlines?

It was indeed! Small libels from both of them, but I'll let them pass.....

It's an all girl Calendar tonight, Christine & Gaynor presenting.

Faye was back on the News Round-Up as well despite being on the ITV News Channel until Midnight last night.

Unless I'm going mad, wasn't Faye doing the GMTV updates as well today?

She did the newschannel live until 1am as the 12-1 hour is then repeated until the morning news then they put sumat else on for half an hour dunno wot mind you. That only happens on weekends and bank hols as during the week they keep showing repeats of the late itv1 bulletin
Got to hand it to her - dunno how she coped when she doing a panto showing in the evening then went to London to stand in for Lucy Alexander on a couple of occasions in December then was back up in Bradford in afternoon for rehearsals and the show itself

John Shires joined Christine Talbot for tonight's Calendar. I think Gaynor Barnes was on the early GMTV shift!

Tonight's Leave it to Levy was a classic, The man from the council admitted they'd got it wrong straight away, but Peter kept questioning him over and over when the problem had already been resolved!

Sorry to talk about radio again, (maybe there should be a seperate radio forum here?) but it seems there's a new person Diana Luke taking over the 10am slot on sunday mornings on BBC Radio Leeds.

Even the Alex Hall Late Show seems to have more music these days, whether that is due to the new policy or because people are too scared to ring in anymore I'm not sure. There's hardly been any callers tonight!

If she's the person I'm thinking of she did the late night love show on Real Radio for a while and has a rather annoying American (or possibly Canadian) accent.

I fear that attempts by Look North Hull to spring an April Fool's joke on the viewers might have backfired somewhat. They reported that apparently, the Humber Bridge was due to shut for many months as they needed to move the bridge a few inches in one direction to stabilise the structure. To get round the problem, a 'park and row' facility was going to be set up to assist peoples' passage across the Humber! The family were NEARLY drawn in, but shortly after twigging, all of us fell about laughing!

Someone ought to tell them the joke's valid only until mid-day......

I tuned in for a short while this morning. Alex Hall used to have guests in the studio to review the papers. I don't know if Diana Luke still does this or not but when I tuned in there was 'live acoustic music in the studio' Rolling Eyes

Because their budget doesn't stretch to paying the Humber Bridge toll twice a day?
