That Harry Gration is hard working, as well as presenting the Lunchtime Look North and the main one tonight with Cathy he was reporting live in tonight's late Look North.
He also works a 7 day week at BBC Look North, even Peter Levy never did that!

He does it about once every 3 weeks. Harry does it most of the time and when he doesn't he'll be reporting for Grandstand
Re Peter Levy, I didn't think he ever did Saturdays, he's too busy opening village fayres isn't he!

At around the time that Look North (Hull) moved to the new Hull building, there was talk here on TVF that the name for the region was still "a work in progress".
As it recall, it has been "BBC East Yorkshire & Lincolnshire", "BBC Lincolnshire & East Yorkshire", and (now) "BBC Yorkshire & Lincolnshire" at various times.
Doesn't the actual building say "BBC Hull" on it, rather than "BBC (region name)" for the exact reason that the region name is uncertain?
And, the CAs don't actually mention any of these "official" names verbally do they? (or, at least, they never used to) They say three towns in the region (presumably one EYorks town, one Lincs town, and one one NWNorfolk town, right?)
So, if the current name - "BBC Yorks & Lincs" - really is "not final", when the bloody hell are they gonna actually get round to a final name for the region?
I definately think that "Yorks & Lincs" is a sh*t name for the Hull region, as it implies that thet cover most/all of Yorkshire, which they don't.
"Lincs & E Yorks" made much more sense.
Any suggestions for a permenant name anyone?
Apart from going back to "Lincs & E Yorks", I can only think of names that mention "Humberside" and "the Wash", but that would sound a bit sh*t...

Harry was also reporting for News 24 last night as well - quite a busy bee!
As for Peter, when I worked at BBC Leeds he was renowned for being a total workaholic. In fact, he was rumoured to have gone a number of years without a single day's holiday. You can accuse Peter of many things, but being a slacker certainly isn't one of them!

What was Harry reporting on please? Was he live from the Newsroom?

He was live from the scene of a body that was found that is thought to be that of that missing women.
Ian White obviously wants to get a job at BBC News 24 from his performance on the 10.25 last night "We are on the air with Breaking News, we can go over now live to our reporter Harry Gration who is at the scene...", there was a Breaking News strap on air as well!

That was the newsroom? I know I thought it was at first but then when we got a better look I got the feeling she was downstairs. The skyline looked wrong (the angle) for up there. I also hope we get to see that view more often.
Does anyone have any screen caps from when the news first came on, when you got a reasonable view out of the window behind her? I'd love to get another look and I think they'll have got their act together before the next news (sadly)!
