There was uproar from the viewers, who in a huge floodtide of phonecalls and e-mails demanded that the Peter/Paul banter and mid-way weather forecast reinstated as it was.

If that's not hyperbole I can smell then it's something very much like it.

Elaborate? I am feeling a little bit thick tonight....

I don't do footnotes.

You'll have to examine the text.

There was a cockup with the 17:55 Calendar promo tonight, instead of the promo we got Andrew Knight sat in the Calendar East studio stretched into 16:9 instead!

Hi,
Does anyopne know why the Hull Look North version doesn't feature any sports highlights when most other BBC region do ...... I remember Simon Clarke used to present sporting links but I haven't seen him for ages.

I mentioned this the other day, a few pages back now. The sports coverage on Look North Hull is non-existant. And when you consider they have 5 Football League teams in the region, there is just no excuse. They'd sooner have a chat with Cannon & Ball than football (see what I did there).

It's one thing having Peter on his own, but he doesn't even have a sports reporter or a weather person in the studio to share that sofa with.

Simon Clarke was poor anyway, hardly John Shires or Jason McCartney.

This situation with the Hull show is a farce, for the first year they had Peter and Helen squeezed into the smallest studio in the world sat on each others laps, and now you've got Peter in a decent sized studio sat on his own with a single camera angle used for most of the programme. With most interviews done down the line, They could move to a CSO broomcupboard and you'd hardly notice!

I see they're pushing the boat out with presenter pics

ROFL !!! I especially like the line "Choose the faces most familiar to you to find out more about the programme"

It looks like Jonny 5 from the film Short Circuit is now presenting Look North Hull.

It's a bit bad when my Dad has to see East Midlands Today to check up on Boston United when they're at away matches....

Tonights Look North Hull featured an interview with an actor appearing at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds. What it had to do with our region I have no idea. When Look North Hull present rubbish like that and has no time for local sport it deserves all the complaints it gets.
