Lots of things seem to be ending this week, such as the Wright Show, a week before school holidays start. So when do the news schedules give and presenters go on holiday?

Also any ideas about what the schedules are going to be like this xmas?

10-15 minute bulletins are sufficient over the period - if things like the Tsunami happen, schedules can be adjusted to incorporate more.

I wonder if the BBC's 8pm news for thickos will be dropped over the period?

I'm gonna guess and say that this years presenters on BBC World this christmas will be David Jessel, Lindsey Brancher and Tanya Beckett. Why? I have no idea! I don't even know who done it last year.

I agree, and I think the 8pm is going to be dropped, I'd doubt they'll bother to put it out.

So what was their logic on starting it now? Surely January would have made more sense?

Would you rather it was in the other threads? You don't have to read it when it's in here, so don't complain. Leave them be, they're leaving you be.
