Emma Barnett is doing a great job and has proved better than some of the politicians taking part.

I caught the last 30 minutes, it was the best debate of the season I thought, and refreshing to have a show for the under 30s presented without any silly 'yoof' gimmicks and presentation

Why didn't they just do it from A then if they're using so much VR!?

Because Vine is in there?

It'll connect various bits of the newsroom you'll see on election night. Rehearsals look good.

I presume coverage will be based in Studio B though?

Yes Studio B - this is why Newsnight was moved out of the studio, so the technical work could start to get it ready for the election night

Newsnight are using the 2nd half of the studio, they've not moved out.

Newsnight have moved out of studio B temporarily into a studio used by BBC World service TV

Yep. Non TV Forumers may not recognise it though. The VR knob has been turned up to 11.

So I presume it'll be a mix of this...

With them maybe using VR to make Studio B taller, and losing Rita's giant screen and using the one on the balcony in the newsroom (given the new camera)?

I'm sure it'll be that with a decent dose of Gamma. If they use the set up shown, they'll be no better than ITV and their budget VR. I think Moz's guess that Rita will come from the Newsroom is accurate but not using the Outside Source screen. They'll have installed something much fancier.

I can't understand why Sophie Raworth gets the short straw and will be stuck out in the cold all night on that giant map. Forecast is RAIN. #PRAYFORSOPHIE

I'm super intrigued to see what they've done in B. Odd, we've had zero leaks whatsoever.

Is Victoria Derbyshire not out of studio B? Because it looks the same today!?
