Caught her on Radio 1 this morning promoting it and she just seemed so lovely, not that that is a quality you look for in a Question Time presenter, but her sincerity and talent just shined through.

Watching this Question Time special, I must say it's quite a shame Emma Barnett didn't get the main QT gig.

I’m surprised Tina Daheley isn’t hosting to be fair.

Emma Barnett is doing a great job and has proved better than some of the politicians taking part.

One of the more interesting debates I think based on everything that's gone before. After the argument earlier I'm half expecting a full blown round of fisticuffs by the end of the programme.

Presentation wise, well Gill Sans looks like it's going to live on on QT for the time being, in the graphics anyway.

It'll connect various bits of the newsroom you'll see on election night. Rehearsals look good.

I presume coverage will be based in Studio B though?

Yep. Non TV Forumers may not recognise it though. The VR knob has been turned up to 11.

So I presume it'll be a mix of this...

and this...

With them maybe using VR to make Studio B taller, and losing Rita's giant screen and using the one on the balcony in the newsroom (given the new camera)?

That, with extra bells and whistles. Imagine what Studio B would look like in an open atrium Wink

The unnamed “ITV reporter” has done well for himself today. Funny how nobody bar ITV named him though, I wonder if they had have done if it had been a well known national reporter.

Why didn't they just do it from A then if they're using so much VR!?

It was Joe Pike of Calendar. He's currently working his notice with ITV News and due to join Sky News in January so I wonder if that's why ITV haven't made a big deal of his identity.
bkman1990, Jon and BBI45 gave kudos
