On Sunday, Marr is extended until 10.15 again (Sunday was only 60 mins), while the regional Sunday Politics programmes are cut to 25 mins.

Is that new BBC Election onscreen graphics I can see on the screens on the rig?

Looks like it. Seems like their taking their normal approach to fitting in the seat numbers.

Johnson playing the TV Licence card now, or to be more precise the Trump card of wanting to destroy the broadcast media who attempt to hold governments to account. Baffles me how any Brexiteer can want to destroy the BBC at a time when they need to sell Britain around the world.

On the plus side though Mary Nightingale paying a visit to Wrexham tonight, though barely even touched upon two of the biggest issues within the town - homelessness and the NHS.

It'll connect various bits of the newsroom you'll see on election night. Rehearsals look good.

I presume coverage will be based in Studio B though?

Yes Studio B - this is why Newsnight was moved out of the studio, so the technical work could start to get it ready for the election night

Apologies if it’s been mentioned - is their election night coverage being anchored from the atrium or are they still in the VR studio?

Main presentation is from Studio 1 with the atrium being used for additional coverage (as in previous years).

Here's another shot of the atrium build from the other night:

I'd say that's more dreaming up something to deflect from the ITV interview over him pocketing the reporters phone. Any serious BBC interference would have made it into the manifesto no doubt.

Yes, tried to have a quick look and apart from them wanting to use the BBC as a mouthpiece for their views across the world that's the only thing I could find reported about the BBC in all manifestos.

In the interest of balance, someone asked him the question at a rally, and he replied by saying he’ll ‘look into it’

All the people on the left who have been slating the BBC at every turn this election campaign will suddenly have a conflict of interest though.

The BBC's current Royal Charter ends on December 31st 2027: https://www.bbc.com/aboutthebbc/governance/charter

Pretty sure Boris won't be PM around the time of the next charter review, and neither will his illiberal tendencies.

Watching this Question Time special, I must say it's quite a shame Emma Barnett didn't get the main QT gig.
