Walking past NBH this morning a large part of the piazza has now been cordoned off and there were people with plans of the election map.

I think the BBC must be the only organisation or company that allows its staff to post critical comments about it on social media ?

Oh they were, but they were still critical of the BBC, and were the seed of 'negative publicity' if you read the responces and reaction. Foot shooting!.

Freedom of Expression is a cornerstone principle that most BBC management are signed up to. They extend this to staff - within reason.

It's an interesting discussion where the limits of that should be!

I don't think the narrative this has gained in the public domain is beneficial overall to the Beeb
