Why? You can't let the actions of basically idiots disrupt our democractic process (no matter how dysfunctional it might be at present)
Sympathy for the victims?
Realistically if every planned event stopped out of sympathy for somebody we would never do anything -
at all hours of the day and all around the world, somebody somewhere needs sympathy. The line has to be drawn somewhere and I would argue that, as high profile as this event is, it is not a marker to down tools and look all sympathetic. It sends a more powerful message to carry on regardless - to do so otherwise gives ammunitions to the morons to keep doing it. That cannot be right.
