Debate might be off?

Why? You can't let the actions of basically idiots disrupt our democractic process (no matter how dysfunctional it might be at present)

Sympathy for the victims?

Realistically if every planned event stopped out of sympathy for somebody we would never do anything -
at all hours of the day and all around the world, somebody somewhere needs sympathy. The line has to be drawn somewhere and I would argue that, as high profile as this event is, it is not a marker to down tools and look all sympathetic. It sends a more powerful message to carry on regardless - to do so otherwise gives ammunitions to the morons to keep doing it. That cannot be right.

Nick Robinson still talking about the debate on twitter so I think it's going ahead.

As this was posted within the last hour it's reasonable to assume the debate will still be going ahead.

Well it's not exactly going to be cancelled with 45 minutes (at the time of this post) to go.

Campaigning in London has been suspended for tonight. The Southwark branch of the Liberal Democrats is inside the cordon, so they were very quick to suspend campaigning.

I'd highly suggest watching the BBC's Election debate just for the theme.

And has been on the Andrew Neil programmes too.

The great thing about Arthur is it works for a short title sequence or sting just as well. The 2010 theme was great when it had the build up but always felt flat shorter.

I LOVE what David Lowe has done with it. So much drama. Two versions we’ve heard:
