I absolutely was.... Tom Bradby brings nothing to the ITV News brand as he promised he would. Even with acknowledging his personal outage earlier this year - he's never ever cut the mustard. Their biggest mistake, and Austin - their biggest lost.

They've Etchingham - she'll be gone if they don't open their eyes. She's the Maitlis of ITV. Their best news asset period.

Very much disagree re: Tom Bradby. I think he’s very good on News at Ten.

Give it 5 minutes and some political parties will be complaining to Ofcom about such a poor slot demanding a better one. (Its opposite Strictly and His Dark Materials)

ITV should respond with: 'Don't vote for the December election then!'

But he doesn't seem to know who Rachel Burden is!

Haha. Notably, he referred to Naga by her name several times during the Breakfast interview. (A few weeks ago, he said “who’s Naga?”, during the Naga debacle.....)

GMB (not only Piers) still continue to be aggrieved by the fact that the Prime Minister has now given BBC Breakfast two successive interviews, and none to GMB.

Surely that will be redressed soon.

So is definite then, they aren't using Elstree for the main show? What's happening to the huge set then?

It's a shame if they're not going to be using Elstree. From my memory, BBC Election programmes have always been large scale productions, with huge sets which add to the drama and importance of the event.

I appreciate that they no longer need to have all the technical staff actually in the studio, I just think that some of the atmosphere will be lost if it's just presented from a large desk in Studio B at NBH.

If they are indeed doing in studio B I feel like they should do some renovations if they can afford it. I’d suggest installing lower pixel pitch LEDs in the soft area for clearer graphics up front and to replace the barcos with LEDs.

For the EU elections didn't they install a new screen to the left of the soft area to allow for the better demonstration of graphics?
