On a side note - with the election held on 12th December, I wonder when parliament will resume, and another State Opening will have to occur.
I suspect they will not return before Christmas, as Monday 16th to Friday 20th December will be the only sitting days they could use before Christmas, so it would seem parliament will not be back until at least Monday 6th January 2020 right?

The government have said if they win Parliament will return on the 16th. Swearing in is a tedious but required aspect. I suspect the Queen's speech in January but the PM expects Brexit in mid January so not sure how it will all happen - I did see speculation of if a Queen's Speach is essential.
Stop taking what Boris Johnson says as the truth. It's only a few weeks since the nine highest judges in the country essentially convicted him of lying in public office.
Undoubtedly though Parliament will try it's best to convene before Christmas - but if there is a Hung Parliament that could delay the forming of the government for a number of days.

Not a good look to complain about people telling the truth when you can't get the basic facts right yourself.

The last time it happened it was about a week till the government was decided on, that would be the 19th so almost Xmas week, its all very tight
ITV News and GMB using the same branding as 2015 and 2017 (so far), have we seen anything from BBC News yet? Will be interesting to see what it looks like in Reith.
God, did they give him a show to balance out Farage?
Might as well call it Daily Mail Radio.
As I’m sure you know LBC has a schedule that evens itself out overall. So for every Farage, there is a left leaning show as well.
Their high profile hosts are at the extreme right though and not counted by political equivalents of the left.
The trouble is perception too - the other 23 hours may be incredibly left leaning but it's the hour of Farage which defines LBC.
I'm not sure it does, though the Trump interview publicity might have modified that for some.
I have no problem with Farage on LBC per se, I simply don't think he disconstructs an opposing argument very well, he just shouts over the top of the caller, which just makes for poor listening.
Iain Dale and Eddie Mair are streets ahead of him as presenters
