I wonder if Jeremy Vine may try and get the leaders on at some point for his show, a couple of MPs have appeared like Jacob Rees- Mogg and Rupa Huq as well as the likes of Nigel Farage.

Radio rather than TV, though it will likely be on tonights bulletins and the breakfast shows tomorrow, but I have huge issues with the US President being able to phone in to a radio show hosted by a party leader and slag off the leaders of the two main political parties as a general election campaign begins.

I always thought the Cameron/Clegg partnership was one of the most unlikely ever in the history of British politics. Who remembers the “Kingmaker” television news drama of that day?

Waking this morning to see/hear/read some outlets suggesting a Johnson/Farage partnership is somewhat frightening, not least because Farage is just stopping short from saying it out loud.

All of this after his (Farage’s) LIVE radio interview yesterday with President Trump.

Interestingly, some of the mainstream outlets are completely ignoring this angle today, or giving it only passing comment.

I think everyone is waiting for the Brexit Party election launch news conference at around 1100?

If they put up candidates in every seat that sends one message (they are taking 'No Deal' to mainstream Tory heartland seats, and offering an option to the current Boris Johnson deal), if they only put up a small number, it means they are effectively, tacitly, supporting the Tories in their Brexit stance (and sending the signal that 'Vote Tory' = 'Vote Brexit' in a manner that the Brexit Party approves of)
peterrocket and JamesWorldNews gave kudos

The 30 minute Trump segment was arranged and recorded earlier in the day, so it wasn't really phoning in to a radio show.

Even if Farrage opts not to stand in a seat will his LBC show really still be able to be broadcast as he is a party leader.

Parliament will be dissolved just after midnight on Wednesday 6th, which should coincide with the start of Ofcom's 'election period'. Farage could probably continue doing his programme on Monday and Tuesday, but I guess he may have other things to be getting on with.
