All existing bookings, all need booting out and finding new studios with 6 weeks notice. Not going to happen.
Election 2019 from Studio D at BBC Elstree it will be.

Surely Elstree D has the same issue of existing bookings?

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a caveat in any bookings that it may be cancelled in the event of an election, especially over the last couple of years when a snap election/referendum has been a real possibility. (Another issue but I so wish an amendment had been made to hold a referendum on the same day as if the Tories don't get in chances are we'll be off to the polls again this Winter)

Notice the Brexitrama thread has closed so I'll stick this here - C4 actually did and still do have something scheduled for 11pm tonight - "How Europe Stole My Mum", a spoof documentary with Harry Enfield and Liza Tarbuck.

Could the election impact on the Apprentice?

That’s because they took the silly decision of having an active campaigning MEP on as a guest.

Sugar isn’t an MP, and doesn’t get involved in political debate on The Apprentice

I’m not sure being neutral applies to entertainment anyway, I doubt The Last Leg are going to start being balanced giving equal praise and kickings to all parties.

Here's hoping they bring back Arthur as a theme and not the dirge that they have now.

They won't, there's no reason to. The new theme has really grown on me.

A strong chance The Last Leg could end up with all the main leaders on at some point this series. I'm sure Boris has been on before and Corbyn has too - and Boris will probably be keen to remind voters of his entertainment persona considering how crap a Primeminister he has been.

The atrium was used in the 2017 election and 2016 referendum.

I think there was some reshuffling of occupation of the building after 2017. There are plenty of other tenants, including ITV, NBC News and Globecast.

NBC have been there for a long time, based in the ITV Newsroom (and are moving out next year incidentally). There have been a lot of ITV staff move in from the South Bank and a few other players but the basement floor offices / studios is all ITN and it’s pretty much certain that the atrium will be used again for this year’s election.

There have been loads of examples of TV recordings being cancelled and rescheduled. Someone I know was going to be in the audience of 5 Gold Rings a year or two back but Pip Schofield was snowed in so they had to cancel it, and everyone who'd made it was asked to join the audience of the Christmas Top of the Pops instead. OK, so it's more complicated here but, as mentioned, if the election take priority, that's the way it's got to be.

It's not like a TV recording is an immovable object and is absolutely set in stone. You can't just say The Graham Norton Show records on Thursdays and that's that. They can record two episodes on one night if needs be.

It's like much else in this thread, a lot of time there isn't any grand plan or schedule set in stone, they're just winging it half the time.
