Where is the BBC election coverage likely to come from, Elstree?
I recon its not practical as the studio might be in use, I recon either Studio 1 at TVC or Studio A/B New Broadcasting House. The other question is does David Dimbleby do it as he wasn't due to stand down this year?
Wednesday 11th Dec. Jonathan Ross show records for tx on Saturday 14th.
Thursday 12th Dec. Graham Norton records for tx Friday 13th.
Friday 13th Dec. The Last Leg broadcast live.
All existing bookings, all need booting out and finding new studios with 6 weeks notice. Not going to happen.
Election 2019 from Studio D at BBC Elstree it will be.
TC1 was never going to be used again for general elections. Once it closed for redevelopment, it was designed as a light entertainment studio to be rented out and not used for big BBC elections.
Studio D at BBC Elstree was reconfigured to cope with elections and referendums etc, with the first election broadcast from their in 2015, and that is where it will remain.
TC1 is just not suited anymore, as it is rented out to many productions, whereas from Election 2010 backward, the then BBC Television Centre could cope with multiple bookings, as any production planned to be using TC1 could easily move into TC3, TC4, TC6 or TC8 with plenty of space in those studios for big productions - not the case anymore in 2019.

Surely Elstree D has the same issue of existing bookings?
Here's a question, I wonder if election broadcasting rules could affect children in need, specifically the appeal films.
"Charlie is one of thousands of children across the country who have been forced to use food banks" or "Elizabeth has a very rare bone disease which the NHS have stated they don't have the funds to help treatment, so she is with [x charity] who help raise funds for children with this disease".
Boris Johnson is in negotiations over up to three head-to-head debates with Corbyn during election
But he won’t be doing debates with all party leaders. No 10 considering Michael Gove, Priti Patel, Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak for themhttps://t.co/Hvs3TjNNf5
I'm surprised that it's No10 that are dealing with this, as a party political matter I would have expected it to come under the remit of Conservative Party HQ.

I don't think the voice overs are ever that specific?
I am looking forward to Farage not being on LBC at 6pm for 6 weeks though

While maybe not that specific, I'm sure they have mentioned hospital cuts before. I guess it is something to look out for on the night.
