So Johnny Vaughan can cover in his absence.
Well, I can understand reasons for continuity in some respects (studio, graphics etc as this is cheap TV anyway). But since when has Jeremy Vine been referred to as "JV" by anyone, anywhere, ever? (unless I'm missing something)

This is who I first thought of. Didn't Jim Davidson call him JV on Big Break?
As for the logo, the type face is not nice, neither is the sliced V with the full name imo. I'd have like to have seen some changes, maybe they will, even if it's just music.

Looks to be absolutely no set changes.
Someone above mentioned the possibility of a music change which I doubt is likely as it was the TWS theme used in the promos, however this could just have been to reinforce that it was only the name and host changing and not the whole show.
Look who’s in the hot seat! We’re in rehearsals ahead of @theJeremyVine’s first show tomorrow #jeremyvine pic.twitter.com/sEvHh9TVm5

I'm wondering why the desk texture is still the same despite an upgraded one being shown with the logo reveal on Friday.

One can only assume it's a lack of attention to detail.

Looks like it's only the name that has changed. ITN seemed to have kept the Princess book of dire Z-list guests who'll come up for peanuts.

Some things are for certain.
They'll be the same audience members looking gormless when the camera pans on them.
The one audience member or staff member on set who'll laugh at Vine's bad jokes.
A bad caller will slip through the net, as they did with Matthew Wright.
The topics will be as awful as ever. One serious topic, with the rest being female skewed topics to keep viewers switching over to Derbyshire.
As the News Review will be pre-recorded, the segment will be woefully out of date by the time it airs.
Audience woops at the beginning and end of the programme, which will be pre-recorded at 8.50am when they arrive at GiN.

It took BBC Breakfast about 6 weeks to change their mugs to reflect the new logo, and from what one of the presenters said (presumably as a joke), they only have 4 of them, so they are closely guarded to stop guests pinching them!
Let's hope they remember to change the mugs for tomorrow.
