I get the feeling they have avoided that route because it could sound a bit similar to The Jeremy Kyle Show perhaps?
Yet in radio listings, most programmes are just the names of the (lead) presenter (outside breakfast).
Are the words 'the' and 'show' really all that necessary?
We are used to them, sure, but we know it's a show - it on television!

Programme titles like that have been around for years though, especially for that type of show, all in similar timeslots across the BBC, ITV and Channel 5, with the likes of Trisha, Kilroy, and more recently shows like Lorraine and Victoria Derbyshire, as well as in other countries such as Ricki Lake in the USA.
So according to the television schedules the new Jeremy Vine show is just going to be called "Jeremy Vine". Wow, the laziness from Channel 5 over creating a title for the show is amazing. The Jeremy Vine Show would make a decent title.

Read in the newspaper today that Vine will pre-reccord the newspaper review segment to allow him to get to Wogan House in time.

So the newspaper review will be moving to 11am?
LL
The article was confusing as it said the paper review would be at the start of the show, but would make sense to move it to 11am to allow him to get to Radio 2 in adequate time to prep.

It is a 2 mile trip through busy central London traffic, Jeremy wants to make sure he gets there in time for 12.00pm.
