I would have thought someone might have started this already. So as things get worse and Bush's bail out plan fails, I thought we could discuss this here.

ITV News went to Washington for some Breaking News during the EN.
BBC News Channel cut away from Sportsday
CNNI joined cut short YWT 10 mins early to join CNN Domestic
World News Today on BBC4 cut straight to Nisha Pilai, no titles with the Breaking News strap in the World studio.
I think we're in for a night of griping viewing as this story escalates.

was jsut about to say that myself- Jeff Randall has added so much to Sky's coverage throughout the day today- a real asset on the team. He has stayed on for the TOTH at 8

Think the BBC News Channel has switched to the World studio. I don't normally watch at this time though, so it could be normal procedure.

It is a normal pattern, though I get the feeling that World stayed with The News Channel for coverage, I can't confirm that though.

At first I didn't think they had as they still ran a 1 minute World news summary at half past. Joanna however ended the half hour with "this is BBC News" paused and then mentioned the BBC News at Ten. It seemed like the pause was for someone to opt.

Hmm, wonder what the opt-out pause was for just before 10 then. Also I thing that the News Channel Coverrage has been pretty good.

Sky News was spot on last night, Jeff Randall showing just what a valuable asset he is.
I did have the misfortune of flicking over to Fox News who completely ignored the Barrack Obama speech which was carried by all the other networks.
To make matters worse the Live Desk presenter even told viewers that Obama had mentioned nothing about the vote/crisis, but that they had someone monitoring it.
Shame then that ALL Obama was doing was talking about the vote and the crisis...........

When I switched over to the Live Desk on Fox News it just seemed to be 4 presenters, including Neil Cavuto, standing up in the gallery all shouting over each other.
