AIUI Americans are rather more sensitive to bad language on TV than we are in the UK.
Of course, she shouldn't have said it on air, but I would hope that she made a more sincere apology to the person it was originally directed at. I'd be more than just annoyed if someone said that to me at work!
Lol! ,I actually find the fact that she had to apologise in that sombre way more hilarious than the "the **** are you doing" itself.... I mean, of course she screwed up, but she could've made a joke about it, I don't understand why Americans are so moralist about some things.
Reminds me of this, which is doing the rounds at the mo:
Wasn't he the chap featured on Charlie Brooker shouting down the son of a 9/11 victim?
Yes, it's Bill O'reilly of Fox News. A nasty piece of work all round apparently
I have only ever seen Bill O'Reily via that Charlie Brooker clip and god what an a**hole. He didn't even give the bloke time to speak, he basically shouted his opinion, and went on some tirade about the blokes father who died being a 'fine American' killed by scum and all his son could do is oppose the governments move to invade Afghanistan. God lets hope he never gets anywhere in politics!
