Someone just mentioned it in the BBC News thread. And, they've literally just said it. And, it's on air.
Haven't heard anything being mentioned yet about the move on BBC One, unless I've missed an aston.

Does BBC2 get interupted by announcements the tennis is over on BBC1 during the news?
We all know it's a ridiculous situation, but understand why it happens. However considering it's an inevitability why don't the BBC publish an alternative schedule in the TV guides in the event the tennis runs on BBC1.

BBC Two doesn't get interupted, though their sports bulletins may change frequently enough

Because the length of a tennis match is totally unpredicatable. It's impossible to know until the last minute if the news will move to BBC2 or be delayed... or when the regional programmes will move to... or exactly how BBC2 will have to compensate. It's not straightforward unlike, say, decisions on which World Cup games to show.
TV Guides are so last century. What matters in these situations is for the EPG to be updated quickly and accurately - and in many parts of the country, of course, everyone now has access to them as switchover's been completed.

BBC Scotland did. Not sure about the others.
P.S. On Wednesday did all the nations run with extended bulletins at 10.25pm as well considering they aired their own bulletins at 6.30pm on BBC2.

It should be made clear i think for next year by the BBC what they intend to do. If the game finishes before 6.30pm, then local news should follow as normal. If the game is finished by 7.00pm, then regional news should take first place over The One Show. If still on going, a 30min programme follows BBC News at Ten. Not exactly hard.
