There are lots of little stories coming out all at once after Wikileaks have made some previous secret documents public. All these stories would make headlines on their own but they have all come out together and Sky and the BBC are sifting through the documents trying to find the big stories and quoting other news organisations who have sometimes spotted things first. I'm not sure we have seen anything like this before, have we?

I'm sure it will settle down and there will be three or four big stories that rise to the top but this seems to be an interesting time to watch the news channels. At the moment there is breaking news every few minutes and each one a different story.

Apart from the last Wikileaks release of war files last month!

I assume the other news organisations they are quoting are the ones who worked with Wikileaks and therefore have had access to the data for a while and therefore time to analyse them and prepare their newspaper and website spreads. This time round these are Der Spiegel, New York Times, Le Monde, El Pais and The Guardian (last month Al Jazeera and Channel 4 were involved too)
