What about the fact that they both have worked for a long time at the BBC?

Nope. Nothing to do with sexuality or their length of service at the BBC. This is a really hard one.

BBC WORLD, I think you might have got me on this one. The only other possible answer I can come up with at this point is related to WIFT - Women in Film and Television. Anita McNaught was a founder member of the New Zealand organisation, I think, whilst I'm sure Moira Stuart was involved somewhere along the line.

Schwing, if that is indeed the case (the WIFT comment), then they actually have TWO things in common then. The other thing is actually a bit of trivia, but nonetheless accurate.

Both have been involved in pop music and videos. Moira Stuart was in a track called Turn on the News by DJ Nite, and her voice was used as the vocals. Anita McNaught is in a video by the Headless Chickens, IIRC
