Goodness me, you're quick on the uptake aren't you?
He's talking about YESTERDAY, dear.

No, no. I think it's just the sheer size of it, it's a bit overwhelming.

I only misunderstood your question because you worded it in a fashion indicating that you bunked off school every time an english language lesson loomed on the horizon.
As I stated earlier, the Six O'clock News finishes at just before seven o'clock; and you CLEARLY stated that you were originally talking about the END of the Six O'Clock News.
Kindly refrain from blaming MY intelligence for YOUR stupidity.
I am not the stupid one. When did Wales Today become part of the 6 o'clock news?

You completely misunderstood my question!! There definately was no weather BEFORE the regional programmes.

The Six O'clock News finishes at 6.30, not just before 7. The regional news programmes are not part of the 6. Yes, the 6 comes back before 7 for an update, but that's just an update, you can't say that what happens between 6.30 and 7 is the Six O'clock news.
Just look at the BBC schedules, every newspaper, the Radio Times etc, etc, and you'll find you're the only person who thinks the 6 is on for an hour.
So the original poster was right, you are wrong.

Totally agree with what you say and in Wales they don't eve have an update just before 7.

Much as I think Mr Harvey is great etc, isn't this deifying of him getting a bit odd now?
And it is surely the case that in the nations certainly, the 6.00 news and the local news are quite separate affairs.

Much as I thought, Draig.
Humour seems lost on ninety percent of those in this thread.
Can't help thinking that one particular individual is only getting overly serious about the subject in case he misses Derek's words of wisdom about the monsoon season clashing with the next scout camp.
