Im not sure whether it's been mentioned here before but I noticed on The West Tonight last night that BBC Wales' presenter Frances Donovan was now reporting on ITV 1 West!

Frances has been at ITV West for a while now - mainly presenting Sports when Jed Pidman has been away, and also doing some late night bulletins.

I have to say that I think that she is an excellent presenter - v.professional.

Yes I did mention it on Page 13 .

Frances is working for the beeb in wales and the itv west , blimey she must get tired back and forth along the M4 every week. Wonder if she gets any time off !

I saw her the other night at the football. Very short.

I saw her walking her dog a few years back, she seemed a reasonable height but out of shape back then. She looks better now and her work as a sports presenter is generally v. good.

Alex Lovell was doing a show on Radio Bristol today...It was a good job she had a co-presenter with her,,,loads of 'local radio' stuff from the lovell like 'and here is some music.....' 'here is another track'...

Not her specialist subject then, eh?

A bit like journalism, then.

Perhaps she should try child minding?

Is it possible that Points West during breakfast is pre-recorded or does not use live images from its camera? This morning the 7:30 news give you the impression it was still dark in Bristol when it was clearly day light.

A bit like the 6 o'clock news then, just the other way round.
