I was tapping along and then Bumm... On itv news tonight...

Thats why the BBC has got the good deal, they can end laughing even if the national news is tragic because its evening TV to come.

I just watched Bob Camptowns attempt at impersonating an old man giving a weather forecast in 2050 on ITV west news. It was horrible and stupid and sick making .

I feel dirty after watching such a silly bit of local tv news nonsense.

Pointswest just opted out at about 5 mins into the 10. Chris was just sitting there looking dull.

How about a job on another show as a distraction away from all the past squalor ? But then will anyone ever offer alex something different away from the local news?

Unbelievable performance last night, "explaining" how to minimise the effects of flooding, dancing around as she did on Brainteaser. Only one word to describe it - Embarassing! Her brassneck is beyond belief...and how the BBC continue to accept her zero credibility is beyond belief.

No comments about BBC Points West now being full 16:9 ?

Last night's titles looked to be sourced from a 4:3 VHS copy, cropped to 16:9
