Regional Late News on BBC One (March 2017)

Watching the late regional news on BBC One, are these pre-recorded especially on Sunday's? The reason I ask is because there's not much happening on a Sunday in regards to news.

The news isn't but the weekend regional weather is recorded late morning or very early afternoon.

News has no regard for day or time, and actually even 'planned' news happens frequently on Sundays, such as political agenda setting by top party officials on the Sunday morning political shows. BBC news programmes are all live (except occasional recorded interviews, which ought to be flagged as such "he spoke to me earlier".

Plus there's the simple matter of the football/rugby results as well.

Although in most cases at the weekend the sport is done by the early evening bulletin.
