Yeah, and John Kettley doing the weather on local radio in the East Midlands (Radios Nottingham, Derby, Leicester and Lincolnshire) each morning for a few weeks as well.

Actually Suzanne did the weather on East Midlands Today lunchtime. We are getting our fair share of old weather presenters in our region!

That's not a very fair comment. For a start, the weather forecasters don't use a script, all the forecasts are ad-libbed. In any case, she can't have presented the weather on TV for the best part of 8 or 9 years, so she's probably a little out of practice.

In actual fact I saw her this morning and thought she was excellent. And certainly not "grandmumsy" in appearance either.

It's good to see one of the "old guard" forecasters back on our screens!
