No no, Carol Kirkwood is so annoying. She's far to bright in the morning and her accent is like fingernails down a blackboard.
"Gggggyyud myyyornnninggggg!"
Arggggh!
Got to agree with you there. I much prefer Helen Willetts on Breakfast's weather. She manages to be bright and friendly without being too freakishly smiley and shreiky.
Having said that, when Carol's presenting in the studio on other shifts, she seems much more calm and bearable.
The BBC weather graphics appear have gone through some sort of upgrade (well on the n24 1030 forcast anyway) the animation on the fly-by is now incredibly smooth, no gittery movements with the place names almost becoming unreadable as before.
Carol Kirkwood (she of the duffle-coats and the sparkly scarf) can be just a
wee
bit too chirpy very early in the morning.
In my extremely humble opinion.
Personally, the only thing I find annoying about Carol is her 'gyyood moryying' (good morning) and even then not very much. I find her weather presenting to be very informative, yet not
too
detailed, which I think is what makes a good weather presenter.
EDIT: Though having said that, I like the geezer (can't remember his name) on SKY (fomerly of ITV) who just says 'oh, bit o' rain over there' while vaugely flicking his hand towards some place on the map.
