The frost is the ethereal, ghostly shading across most of the country in the image above. The ice is the solid white expanse.

The weather presenter pool could be totally devastated with all these babies on the way...

I thought that about Helen on Monday when she wasn't wearing a jacket but was wearing a top that was gathered and crumpled over the stomach area.

Just seen Helen again on News 24 and she didn't look pregnant (wearing a red suit with the jacket buttoned) judge for yourselves on News 24 or on BBC One after the Ten .

Trouble is, when they're really showing, south-western parts lose a significant amount of their forecast.
