I reckon that she might read this board. She has just been on and was far more "toned down" than normal.

Well if they are reading the board will presenters please give us a look at the weather more in advance as opposed to stopping at say 5pm and then having a brief look at the next day with no times involved. It is most frustrating if you are going out in the evening and the map stops at 4pm for a (useless) fly around the country and then skips to the next day.

I'd also like to add that the summary screen showing the next two days' forecast in Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff and London is as much use to us here in the North of England as a one-legged man at an ar se-kicking competition.

Two of the best BBC weathermen I have seen tend to only be on BBC world.

Brian Cumins and Everton Fox

Looks like TPTB have been taking a look at this. Everton popped up on W24 this morning.

I agree. What use is the weather for Cardiff or London going to be for Sheffield?

I would like to see Dan corbett get the job, but for him to get MORE air time, but failing that then i think rob McElwee deserves to get the job, or Peter Cockroft, as they have been the longest serving

Peter Cockroft no longer works for the network weather centre - he's the dedicated weather presenter for BBC London. That's not to say he won't go for the job...but surely it'll go to Rob McElwee or Peter Gibbs?

I didn't even know she was 'Lead Presenter', I thought it was someone like Rob McElwee or Alex Deakin.

Ditto the BBCi maps were very helpful yesterday, showing that it would be sunny at 9am, cloudy and 12pm and clear at 3pm.

So I didn't take a brolly out with me and it p*ssed it down from 12.30 until 2

It is all right giving us hour by hour detailed information but it is very often wrong or about three hours out. At least the symbols were vague and gave you an overall idea that the afternoon will be cloudy with sunny spells as opposedt o saying that it will be cloudy and 12pm and clear at 3pm.

She is one of the more eccentric weather presenters, but I wouldn't get rid of her.

I like Tori Good, of course she is eccentric, most of the presenters are, but at least she's always smiling - you can't beat that
