I really must say about the weather is ****e. So ****e that 1960's or 70's weathermen might turn up from their graves
What the hell is it with you and DEATH?
Perhaps he's a goth, is he wearing black nail varnish?
Well I did hear that Bert Foord has been dead for four years. I've never heard anything about other weathermen during that period in recent years apart from Jack Scott and Barbara Edwards. What about Keith Best, John Sherwood and Graham Parker who were both around before Michael Fish arrived. Are they still alive
Saw someone reading the Daily Mail this morning and one of the headlines talking about the graphics being scrapped. More Mail nonsense or something actually in it? Has anyone read the article?
There's a piece in this week's Ariel which says the graphics aren't as unpopular as has been made out.
The latest data from the GSK Pulse Panel, which is apparently 5000 licence fee payers who give their reactions to programmes, said that 48 per cent prefer the new graphics, 21 per cent think they're as good as the old ones, and 31 per cent prefer the previous look.
However, it also says the weather centre manager is taking comments on board. He also points out that people are much more likely to phone up to complain, than phone to praise.
Anyway, I wonder if Crazy Frog would be a good weather forcaster taking Carol Kirkwood's role in Breakfast and sing crappy songs while jumping about in the 3D graphics
Apart from Bert Foord, Are there any other weathermen dead

With all this talk of degrees of murder, Where do you reckon I'd come....
Umm should I broaden the title of the thread to include other weather forecasts; BBC 3's was again brilliant this evening "well it's brown there, thats, umm blue and oh yeah rain"
