I believe all local news progs started today as soon as George and Sophie said goodbye. There was no closing titles to the six.

Do you know... astoundingly, I think I rather like them. I've watched a few forecasts now and it's taken a while to make up my mind about them, they're certainly very different, but I think they work quite well. I think people need to give them a little bit of time.
The rain prediction feature is very good, perhaps the difference between sunshine and cloud could be worked on and some tweaks will probably be necessary, but overall I think it looks OK.

Both Angie in NI and Heather in Scotland said the graphics will take some getting used to, afterwards Jackie and Sally in Scotland said they wouldnt comment!
The Midlands version looks foul. The rain is these long streaks coming down the screen . And Shefali looked like she had no idea what was going on

yes, poor shef didnt seem to know what to say. the rain looked more like asteroids on midlands today, and the Y in coventry was strangely absent, not to mention the lack of "fly overs".
