Well the Christmas Tree is up in the Wales Tonight studio. Are they not having a Christmas Lights and Christmas Choir competition this year? I admit ive not seen every bulletin these past few weeks but ive heard nothing mentioned. I know they have been talking about a Christmas Card competition for weeks.

Tonight we had Big Brother runner up Glyn as guest in the studio. I like Glyn but the interview did seem a bit pointless really.

And it appears we have a new news presenter - anyone see the lunchtime bulletin yesterday? Smile

She has been going to London a lot recently! Id like to see her regularly present on the national news.

I regularly see her on the London-Swansea train, Standard Class too, poor thing.

You'd think they would put her in first class. Even I go in first class when I go to London. Wink

Jonathan Hill mentioned on tonights Wales Tonight that he will be presenting Wales This Week at 8pm. I take it Helen Calllaghan was unavailable then?

She was reporting from the beach at Branscombe for ITV News today

All change at HTV-towers then!

It seems that Lee Waters has vanished from Waterfront with Mai Davies currently presenting; and then tonight Jonathan HIll appeared on Wales This Week!

Re: Wales This Week - it seemed a bit odd that the voiceover on the ident stated Jon's name and that he also featured in the opening titles to the programme - which suggests that it wasnt a last minute subtitution!

I would've assumed Lucy might've presented Wales This Week but maybe she has other things to do now?

PS Great to see Jon in the pink studio!

So I saw.

I doubt Lucy would have time to do WTW - she has been on 8 days without a break if you count Wales Tonight and the national news.

Lee Waters has quit ITV Wales to become head of Sustrans Cymru- a cycling charity based in Cardiff Bay.

I believe this to be a political move, he'll more than likely return to politics in 4 years' time as a candidate for the Welsh Assembly.

Any idea where Steve Taylor and Zoe Thomas have gone too?

Well Justina Simpson is presenting the 6pm bulletin tonight with Jon.

Haven't seen Steve in a long time, don't know about Zoe either. But I CAN tell you that Sally Johnson still works at ITV Wales News behind the scenes.

A lot of people just move on after a while, it's not all that lucrative really.

Thanks for that. I wondered where Sally Johnson had gone to - she was a regular presenter of the GMTV Wales bulletins but just disappeared! Tara also hasnt been presenting bulletins for ages so im wondering whether she is also working behind the scenes like we saw her on that special report a few months back.
