Enjoying the banter going on between Dan Walker and Piers Morgan regarding viewing figures, where Dan recalls that Breakfast still gets double the viewing figures of GMB.

Where does Sunrise currently stand in the mix? I presume least of all three, but by what margin? And is it expected figures will rise when Kay Burley takes over?

I wonder what figures Sky News are targeting?

I think this is one show that might be too difficult to stomach over breakfast

Sunrise peaks at around 100-150k for a half hour slot a handful of times a week, generally doing better at the weekend than in the week.

So, for today’s launch show, Kay will actually be outdoors on the Green, pre-emptive coverage of the State Opening of Parliament. And back into the studio tomorrow.
