Have to say that these Jeremy Vine virtual graphics are much better than the general election last year. Probably because they are using ITN facilities, rather than the ad-hoc setup in TC1 last year. Hope Broadcasting House is setup with the infrastructure for a decent VR studio, rather than the BBC having to go and use a rival broadcasters' facilities.
N9 seems a lot redder than at the last elections, when they'd made the background far more visibly multi-coloured. I'm not sure why it would matter, though. BBC News colours are red and white, and all the voting is over.
Virtual Broadcasting House seems very false and I'm not really a fan of the graphics, other than the lack of Gills Sans. Could it have disappeared completely from BBC News graphics by the time they're at BH, I wonder?
EDIT: I see they're actually using Gills Sans - just looked a lot simpler on my laptop.
Actually scrap that, the matting is CRAP! It's just surrounding the edge of the table with a bit of headroom for guests, and you can literally see the background fade into black where this headroom is. Oh well.
Scotland's logo and ticker has just appeared. Very similar to network, but with 'BBC SCOTLAND' in blue and white, no clock and a rubbish font on the ticker.
