I rather liked Jeremy Vines virtual broadcasting house for the vote 2011 results on the 10 just now, very nice.

I'm the complete opposite, I hate it when they do that. It's completely stupid. I still can't believe he dressed up and acted like a cowboy in the 2005 general election, shooting cans, bloody hell. I miss Election 97!

As the counting around NI comes to an end for the day with only around a third of Assembly members elected, BBC NI's coverage will continue until 11.15pm at the earliest.

Not sure on UTV's coverage, but they are still on-air now and it's thought further coverage follows tomorrow if needed.

UTV are on air until 11:30pm tonight. They are scheduled from 12:10 - 2:10pm tomorrow afternoon but have mentioned on Twitter that this will be extended if needs be.

Paul Clark has just said at the end of tonight's coverage: "we were due to finish quite early tomorrow but something tells me we'll be with you a lot longer than that"!

While at Broadcasting House, they kick off on BBC Two NI (and probably online) at 10.00.

If tomorrow is anything like today, it may be another long day Laughing but well done to both BBC NI and UTV for a sterling effort today.

Best moment so far: The declaration at West Tyrone, already affected by wet ballot boxes, temperamental computers and collapsing tables, gets interrupted by the declaring officer's mobile phone - http://on.fb.me/mpOYjF

EDIT: And typically, the last remaining constituency to declare leaves it until both BBC and UTV go off-air to announce the results of the first count Wink

Are you sure you tuned into the right channel..

Are you joking? This is a thing of beauty:
