Just seen BBC graphics for first time - and they're quite lovely. More of this kind of thing!

Are you sure you tuned into the right channel. Nothing of note at all to say about the BBC graphics. Sky's though work rather well.

Ridiculous coverage on the BBC today. Yes, the nations did their own thing but for the AV vote you'd expect the BBC at least to have a continuous programme from the first vote coming in to the result being announced - which is roughly 4-8pm, something BBC2 could easily accomodate. I don't see why the first national referendum since 1975 gets no coverage whilst the amazing revelation that bombing people on the Tube is "unlawful" gets a Newsnight special three hours ahead of it's regular show.

The feed on this page is coming from a Sky box. I just saw the Sky miniguide appear and the channel change to BBC2NI's channel up in the 990s, which indicates it is coming from London.

Volume's way to high too.

Although on the feed I've been watching for most of the day (with dodgy sound), it switched from BBC One NI to BBC Two Wales just before 7.00pm leading into the rugby, but quickly switched to BBC Two NI with no sound problems at all in time for the first declaration. Smile

Fun error right now as the Breaking News animation animates itself on loop on top of other astons.

What time did Dimbleby finish? 6pm?

He's on now and is finishing in the next 10 mins. But he was off between 6pm and 6:30, if that's what you meant.

Ah, sorry, I turned over during the 7pm hour and Gosling was on with no election graphics. I wrongly figured he'd finished.

Election coverage on News channel over, and the Weather forecast didn't trigger, leaving the endboard on screen for thirty seconds or so, static and silent.

EDIT: We've just cut to the forecast, and he's halfway through it.

I rather liked Jeremy Vines virtual broadcasting house for the vote 2011 results on the 10 just now, very nice.
