I don't recall bits of Scotsport coming from the Cowcaddens foyer. Was that in Arthur's day, or Jim W's, or Jim Delahunt's latter era? I missed that completely.

Back on topic: did Breakfast eventually have any of their presenters out on location this morning? Just curious.

Louise Minchin was in sheffield, Nick Clegg's constituency, after 7am. I haven't seen her on the NC yet but haven't been watching much.

Scotland's live stream was CBBC for a wee while!!

BBC NI's coverage is on air and online.

This year's logo reminds me of early 1980s Thames News Smile

Just seen BBC graphics for first time - and they're quite lovely. More of this kind of thing!

Even the LIVE/location strap animates nicely, and both bits (red & black) line up properly. Why can't it be like this all the time on the News Channel?

From the Daily Politics set or have they dusted down the newsroom set?

BBC NI are putting out their programme on BBC One and Dimbleby on BBC Two. Seems a bit excessive!

How long has the BBC's main Vote 2011 programme from N9 been on for? I think there was a gap for Breakfast but what about anything else? They're doing well to stay awake!!!

An interesting observation posted on DS - apparently BBC Parliament's rebroadcast of the Scotland programme seems to be being sourced via DSAT, complete with Sky box graphics at one point.

Perhaps now while declarations are awaiting in the NI elections, but I wouldn't say generally excessive now the AV referendum results are starting to roll in... not everyone in NI has 24/7 access to the BBC News Channel yet.

Really like the network graphics in the last 24 hours. White, black and grey (particularly the white backing) is so crisp and clear.

Just wish there wasn't the usual pixelly artefacts around the lettering. Oh for HD BBC News...

College Green.

Incidentally, I was in the newsroom at Millbank a few weeks back - there's no sign of that set anymore.

D'oh.
(It wasn't overnight.)

And the pointy arrows everywhere remind me of BBC Sport Scotland. Wonder why they went their own way from network?

My problem with the BBC's coverage, which I've mostly enjoyed, is the complete hodgepodge of channels this has been on. The AV result isn't in and there's no more Vote 2011 on the 2 terrestrial channels coming up?

And instead of continuing Vote 2011 - the News Channel are showing 6 o'clock News, and because it's all prewritten, Nick Robinson is already wrong when he's saying nowhere's voted Yes where in the last few minutes, 2 places have.

You also have them leading on "The BBC is predicting that No" as the wording of their top line (rather than the latest actual numbers, focus on yourselves of course), and when it goes to Dimbleby he's like "we're the BBC, we don't do predictions, it's not lost until we have 9,873,000 no votes".

You have a rolling news channel. Roll with breaking news. Don't go to "Inside F1", that's just a joke.
Edit: Oh, they are back with Vote 2011 at 6:30 - they did the regional bit on NC as a plug for Inside F1 so I expected it would go to that.
