The current news studio and gallery at SRF are past end-of-life. They were supposed to be dismantled well over a year ago and replaced by brand new all-IP technology. Unfortunately, there are major issues with the new studio and it still can’t be used today.
Hopefully SRF can fix those issues and get them up and running.
Is this why we didn't get a new news studio with the recent rebrand? The SRF building was recently revamped and the architects included this image of a sports studio. However, it looks very much like a multi-purpose studio/set. Has it ever been on air? (It's image 5. Sorry, I don't know how to embed the image)

There are some additional images of the studio and office (including what looks to be a newsroom presentation point) available here: https://afasiaarchzine.com/2020/07/penzel-valier-srf-campus-zurich-zurich/
It's a striking design. It'll be interesting to see how the studio gets used once it all goes live.
