Central (East) East Midlands Today
My apologies if it's already been mentioned, but ABC News in Australia looks like they're in the process of getting a new set. They've been in their newsroom and local Sydney studio for weeks now. News Breakfast in Melbourne is in their new set. If I had good knowledge of video capturing software and weren't so paranoid about viruses, I'd upload a few videos. But luckily their YouTube livestream can be seen outside Australia.

At 3:00 pm GMT today, Serbian broadcaster O2 TV reverted to its former name B92 TV .

B92 was born in 1989 as a radio station, and was one of the only independent media during the Yugoslav wars in the nineties.

A sister TV station was launched in 2000.

While an Internet news portal (which also relays some BBC News in Serbian) retained the name B92 , the radio station became Play Radio in 2015, and B92 TV was renamed O2 TV in 2017.

In anticipation of the return of B92 TV under its original name, here are a few videos.

First, the countdown, headlines, and intro to the news on 14 October 2001:

Then, how it looked like in 2008:

A short-lived intro from 2011:

And an iteration of the cube-based identity born in 2012:

When the channel switched its name to O2 TV , the design changed accordingly.

When French channel M6 used to provide local news…

Here is a complete edition of Six Minutes Lyon for the city of Lyons (including a short weather update at the very end), in September 2008, three months before the end of this local edition.

WNBC coverage of the Harvey Weinstein verdict. We start with the video during local lifestyle show New York Live, which then goes into rolling news as soon as the interview with the guest on NYL completes, but I don't think the presenters are aware of the flick to NBC 4 News. It then joins network for the NBC News Special Report before rejoining 4NBC News for rolling coverage.

Also note that the graphics vanish as the gallery changes over from the New York Live lower thirds to the 4NBC News set.

I was going to say it would be odd for the New York Live crew not know as they share the main WNBC studio, it’s just on the other side. Occasionally episodes or segments are recorded. But here they’re using a flash cam where the main control room is located behind them. WNBC has two control rooms, one smaller than the other. The smaller one has a full size switcher and I believe audio but it’s in a small room - maybe four seats at most. The larger one is automated and I’m not sure if it controls the full size Sony switcher in the smaller control room or if when they installed OverDrive they kept the Sony switcher as a back up. I think the smaller one maybe used for cut ins. It would make sense for them to share their XPression graphics engines.

The special report could have been automatically switched from their Dry Creek master control facility. You see how they crash in and then suddenly crash out. Almost seems like the local control room was continuing their coverage and not monitoring station output.
Don’t let anyone treat you like you’re a VO/SOT when you’re a PKG.

Actually, the presenters David Usher and Johnathan Dienst were in the newsroom and not on the main set. IIRC WNBC's newsroom is on the seventh floor, 7E and their studio is 3K
